勉強会などがあった日は、多くのモスクで夕食が供されます。その日の作り手により、出されるのは、インド・パキスタン・バングラデッシュ方面の料理であったり、インドネシア・マレーシア方面であったり、アラブであったりすると思います。On days when there is a study session, many mosques serve dinner. Depending on the cook of the day, the food served may be Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Indonesian, Malaysian or Arab.
モスクによってなんですけど、一人一皿ではなく、大皿を数人でシェアする場合があります。シェアと言っても大皿から取る、ではなく、大皿から食べるのです。例えばご飯の山にカレーがドバッとかかっているのをシェアするのです。山を数人でスプーンで崩しながら食べるのですね。今はコロナだしやっていないけど、多分今後もこのスタイルは減っていくかもしれないけど、正直減って欲しい！

Depending on the mosque, you may be sharing a large plate with several people, rather than one plate per person. When I say share, I don't mean take from the platter, but eat from the platter. For example, we share a pile of rice with curry poured on top. You eat the pile with a few people, breaking it up with a spoon. They don't do this now because of Corona virus, and maybe this style will decrease even after Corona, and honestly I want it to decrease! dissapear!

なんか理屈じゃなく、ダメなんです。止むを得ない状況に陥った場合、誰のスプーンとも接しないように、そそくさ〜と自分のポーションのはるか手前でスプーンを止めて、ごちそうさま言っちゃいます。
あ〜ハラハラして食べた気もしない。
I don't know why, but I can't do it. When I have no choice but to eat, I quickly stop the spoon far in front of my portion, so that it doesn't touch anyone else's spoon, and say "thank you I have finished". I get so nervous.
